Feel closer to your child — and more confident in how you guide them.

Parenting can feel especially hard when your child stops talking, pushes you away, or seems more influenced by friends and social media than by you.

Maybe you’re caught in power struggles. Maybe you’re worried about lying, sneaking around, anxiety, or depression. Or maybe you simply find yourself wondering, How do I reach my child again?

You don’t need more fear, more control, or another one-size-fits-all parenting strategy.

I help parents understand what their child is going through, rebuild connection, and guide them with more confidence — using an approach grounded in attachment, neuroscience, emotional development, and a deep belief in every child’s capacity to grow.

You may be here because…

Your child barely talks to you anymore.

Every conversation seems to turn into an argument.

You’re worried about social media, lying, sneaking around, anxiety, or depression.

You’re trying to guide your child, but you’re not sure how much to push, when to step back, or how to stay connected without becoming too permissive.

And with so much conflicting parenting advice online, it can be hard to know what actually helps. One expert tells you to hold firmer boundaries. Another tells you to validate more. Social media can leave you feeling like you’re either too strict, too permissive, or somehow getting it all wrong.

Or maybe things aren’t falling apart — you simply want to parent with more intention. You want to nurture the qualities your child will carry into adulthood: resilience, empathy, honesty, confidence, compassion, and a strong inner compass.

You want your child to know they can come to you — and you want to know how to guide them without losing the relationship.

Sometimes you don’t need more information.

There’s no shortage of parenting advice anymore.
You can scroll social media, listen to podcasts, read books — or even ask AI what to do. But good parenting guidance isn’t simply about finding the right script or strategy.

It’s about understanding your child — their temperament, development, emotional world, strengths and emerging capacities — while also understanding yourself, your relationship, and the values you want to guide your family.

Sometimes what you need isn’t more information.

You need someone to help you step back, see the bigger picture, and figure out what truly fits your child and your family.

You don’t have to choose between connection and boundaries.

Maybe you’ve worked hard to move away from punishment, yelling, or fear-based parenting — but now you sometimes wonder if you’ve become too permissive.

Relationship-centered parenting doesn’t mean saying yes to everything, avoiding limits, or keeping your child happy all the time.

Connection + Leadership

Children need both. They need to feel loved, understood, and emotionally safe — while also knowing that the adults in their lives can hold boundaries, tolerate their disappointment, and offer the steady guidance they still need.

Love and boundries are not opposites.

We can protect the relationship while also helping children develop the habits, capacities, and inner qualities that allow them to gradually guide themselves.

The goal isn’t control. And it isn’t permissiveness either.

It’s learning how to stay connected while still being the steady, grounded parent your child needs.

That’s the kind of parenting I help families build.

When parenting feels confusing, you need a way to find your direction.

There are moments when you know you don’t want to react from fear or control — but you’re still not sure what to do instead.

That’s where the L.A.M.P. of Parenting comes in.

A heart-and-science-based framework built around:

Love · Attunement · Mindset & Mindsight · Purpose
with your Values at the center.

The L.A.M.P. helps you slow down, understand what your child is going through and what they truly need, notice what’s happening within you, and shift your mindset so you can respond with more clarity, connection, and confidence.

It also helps us remember that parenting isn’t only about managing the behavior in front of us. It’s about creating the conditions in which our children’s capacities, character, and inner compass can gradually develop.

It’s not about following a script.

It’s about having a framework you can return to — especially in the moments when parenting feels hardest.

Hi, I’m Mia.

I’m a parenting coach and educator, but long before I began supporting other parents, I was a mom searching for a different way to raise my own children.

Much of the parenting advice around me focused on obedience, consequences, and control. It didn’t feel right to me — and it didn’t work particularly well for my highly sensitive children.

I wanted something deeper.

I wanted my children to listen to their own inner conscience, not simply behave because they were afraid of punishment or disconnection. I wanted to nurture qualities like compassion, resilience, honesty, courage, and empathy — qualities that would gradually become part of who they were and how they moved through the world.

That search led me into years of studying attachment, neuroscience, emotional development, and the work of Dr. Gordon Neufeld and Dr. Dan Siegel.

Along the way, I became increasingly convinced that our role isn’t simply to shape behavior from the outside. It is to create the conditions that allow what is already developing within our children to unfold.

I also bring the perspective of a third-culture parent. Having raised my own children across different countries and cultures, I understand what it’s like to navigate competing messages about parenting, identity, belonging, and what “good parenting” is supposed to look like.

Today, I help parents make sense of what their child is going through, understand themselves more deeply, and find a way forward that feels grounded in science, rooted in connection, and aligned with their deepest values.

Our role isn’t simply to shape behavior from the outside. It is to create the conditions that allow what is already developing within our children to unfold.
